About the Colorado Honor Band |
|
Colorado Honor Band serves students ages 10-18 throughout the
greater Denver metropolitan area including Arapahoe, Adams,
Douglas, and Elbert County. We have approximately 350 students,
six Beginning Bands, three Intermediate Bands, and an Advanced
Band, Symphonic Band, Symphony Winds, Jazz Band II, and Jazz
Ensemble I. We always welcome new students!
The Colorado Honor Band is a year-round program. Students who
have never played an instrument before begin in September. Other
students may audition and join us at any time.
As a result of the educational experience
we offer, a graduate of the
Colorado Honor Band Association can maximize
his or her own potential and will have the knowledge, skills, and
attitudes to be a complex thinker, an effective communicator, a
responsible citizen, a self-directed learner, an ethical person,
and a quality worker - essential elements for success in the 21st
century.
