Now CHBA offers flexible payment options!

Colorado Honor Band wants to make it as easy and affordable as possible for you to pay for membership, summer camp, band tours, workshops and other fun events for your children to participate in. Please find our monthly payment program that allows you to pay for these events in monthly increments rather than one lump sum.

 

RECOMMENDED PRIVATE TEACHERS

 Colorado Honor Band is well connected with talented, professional musicians across the state of Colorado. Although CHBA provides full-band and semi-private group lessons (sectionals) we also encourage students to take private lessons in addition to their experience with us.  Private lessons can help propel students quickly if they are behind, start a second instrument, correct bad habits, or help prepare audition music.   Please see the list of recommended private teachers here.

PARENTS - WE NEED YOUR HELP!

 The board of directors has many new activities and they would like to involve our membership.  Please sign up for a committee that is of interest to you.  The demand on your time would be minimal unless you choose to do otherwise.  Lots of hands make less work for everyone.

Which Committee Would you Like To Join?

 Fundraising Committee 

 (Purpose: To develop and implement fundraising strategies and activities)

 

  Scholarship Committee

 (Purpose:  To develop scholarship funding and assist as needed in determining distribution.)

 

  Special Events Committee

 (Purpose:  Planning, developing, and implementing special activities run by CHBA, e.g.  bring a friend to   band night, benefit concerts, special performances)

 

  Alumni Committee

  (Purpose:  To further develop an alumni database and to contact alumni as needed for   information distribution about CHBA.)

 

  Volunteer Coordinator

(Purpose:  To be the liaison between volunteer committee chairpersons and the CHBA executive Director or Board Member handling the overall functions and questions of committees.)

 

  Administrative Help Committee

(Purpose:  to collate and fold programs prior to each concert, take programs to venues and to distribute programs at concerts.)
